I’m raving about this ever-so-simple dish: Roasted garlic. Why haven’t I been doing this for dinner ALL THE TIME? It’s amazing as an appetizer or a side, it’s ridiculously easy to make, and (always appealing to me) it’s inexpensive.
To be honest, you could probably wing it without a recipe…just put your oven up to 400, sozzle some olive oil on those garlic heads, wrap in foil and pop in the oven on a baking tray for about 45 minutes. You will be stunned at how gourmet and amazing these things are for the ridiculously low-level of effort it took to prep them.
Big warning. You will probably eat a TON of garlic when you make these, and your body will smell accordingly. As will your farts. So maybe not a first-date food….
