The Toast is one of my favorite ‘hidden gem’ web magazines.  It’s  feministy, geeky and delightfully off-kilter.

Some of my favorite posts are  by Mallory Ortberg, who seems to have both a wicked sense of humor as well as a strong background in classic arts.  Some gem pieces by her (with some example images and captions):

Anyway.  Basically I love this weird, funny site.  It’s like nothing else I’ve found, except maybe a touch similar to some of Wait But Why’s goofier offerings.

Do yourself a favor and follow them on FB and all that jazz. Your newsfeed will be funnier for it.
